So it possibly hasn't done one for some time - hence the blocking warning. But, surely it would have overheated at some point - though they do run cool when idling, and need no fan on the motorway to stay at normal temps of 90. Stopping and turning off the engine and restarting at least restored full power but still with 'engine fault' indicated. Leaving the car parked for an hour or two it starts and drives with no problems indicated until after maybe 20 mins driving starts indicating 'Check Coolant Level' again.
5mph message on dash - get new air springs ASAP. suspension down - fit them emergency valves ASAP and also disconnect the power lead to the compressor (2 wire connector) and get new air springs ASAP (you will get message FAULTY SUSPENSION) also get diagbox (lexia 3) if you are doing repairs yourself.
On starting the vehicle from cold, within a few seconds the warning "Engine fault, arrange repair" orange light comes on accompanied by an audiable warning together with the service light on the left hand side of the display.
A sudden warning last Friday displayed "emissions fault", Urea warning light, and "have the engine repaired" warnings, complete with bells and whistles, plus a countdown, " engine will be prevented from starting after 700 miles". My local Citroen dealer who sold me the car 4 years ago is unable to fit me in "for weeks".
