🌟 Passat 1.4 Tsi Ecofuel Problem
Problem: the car runs rich, and can't pass emissions test. Engine runs ok on petrol, but runs a little bit rough on cng. Still, the same condition both fuels. There is no check engine light or dtc's stored. Checked with vcds and odis. Things that I have done. 1. New sparkplugs and ignition coils, checked the wiring also --> ok 2.
I discovered the disconnected air hose and connected it back after around 30 minutes of driving or 30 miles but the car had been parked under the oak on our backyard for a couple of days, EPC light came on, the car lost all throttle power, and the engine where running very rough.
Thanks!!!! When I wrote mileage, I meant the total engine life before it breaks, like 200 000km or more - can this engine last for example 300 000 km?What are the main problems to look in used cars? Let's say I'm buying 167000km 1.4tsi ecofuel - what should I check/replace first?
I have some problems with my car, when I start it, the fuel indicator goes to full (cause the tank is full) but like after 30s it drops to zero and the engine shuts off. (the natural gas tank is empty, and I cant refill it since I cant drive it at all) any ideas? i thought it might be the fuel filter, but I cannot locate it any help would be
Slow Warm Up Issues So some people are reporting very slow warm-ups on the 1.4 tfsi engine; that's something that typically doesn't affect a good 1.4 TSI or TFSi engine. There are aluminum blocks; they're quite small; they're very efficiently designed; and to meet emissions regulations, they are specifically designed to warm up quickly.
It spins freely, is extremely quiet at idle, or with the standard stop-start on it restarts with noticeably less rattling and shuddering than a diesel motor will produce.
